Welcome to the most global corner of my blog. This is not necessarily a spot for loads of travel advice, but of memories. Not only do I take pictures of everywhere I go but I also write about it. There is not a coffee shop or park that I have visited that does not feature in some sort of diary entry.

I’ve been fortunate enough to visit some wonderful places around the world, with friends, family and even a solo trip! And here you’ll find my old travel diaries and itineraries from when I went interrailing at 19. Paris features heavily as I visit the city as often is as socially acceptable. You’ll see the love affair I have with the city unfold in front of your eyes.

And as much as I love to get away, I’m a homebody at heart. Some of my heart is in Paris, yes, but mostly it’s in Scotland. And whilst it’s not a jet-setting journey for me, I know Edinburgh is a bucket list city for so many, and I just love to talk about where I live. So in amongst the anecdotes, you’ll find coffee shop, walking routes and museum recommendations in the city I’m lucky enough to call home. If you’ve never wanted to visit Edinburgh before, I guarantee you’ll want to afterwards.
